Developed to help Giant pro Alan Hatherly win the 2025 Elite Men’s XCO World Championship, this superlight XC composite flyer is engineered with a semi-integrated 120mm FlexPoint Pro rear suspension system and a flip chip to adjust geometry for any racecourse or XC terrain.

Key Performance Features

Total Control

The advanced FlexPoint Pro suspension system provides 120mm of responsive rear travel, paired with a 120mm front fork, giving riders excellent control on rough descents while maintaining efficiency on technical climbs. An adjustable flip chip allows riders to fine-tune the bike’s geometry to suit different cross-country terrains and riding styles.

Depending on the model, the bike is equipped with ultralight Giant WheelSystems in either composite or alloy construction. These wheels feature a next-generation 120-tooth helical ratchet hub mechanism for instant power engagement. Reinforced 5mm rim sidewalls enhance durability and offer better protection against impacts and punctures during aggressive riding.

Low-Latency Speed Concept

The completely redesigned composite frame is 89 grams lighter than the previous generation, while also delivering a 7.95% improvement in stiffness-to-weight ratio. This increased efficiency helps riders transfer more power directly to the pedals, making climbs faster and more efficient.

The optimized WheelSystems and integrated cockpit design provide quick response and efficient energy transfer with every pedal stroke. The rear shock has also been repositioned and partially integrated into the top tube, reducing overall weight while creating additional space for a second water bottle cage.

Advanced System Integration

A newly designed one-piece integrated handlebar and stem improves ride comfort by adding compliance that helps absorb trail vibrations and small impacts.

Contact SL XC Integrated (alloy)

Both designs feature clean internal cable routing and flexible sizing options, including a standard 780mm handlebar width and stem lengths ranging from 50mm to 90mm, allowing riders to fine-tune fit and control for their riding style.
